Terms of Service
Last updated: 9 July 2026
1. What Ridelot is
Ridelot gives car dealerships a shareable digital showroom: you list your cars, share your showroom link, and buyers contact you directly on WhatsApp. By creating an account you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself or the dealership you represent.
2. Your account
You are responsible for your login credentials and for everything done under your account. Provide accurate details, keep your password safe, and tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access. You must be at least 18 and legally able to sell the vehicles you list.
3. Your content
The cars, photos, prices and descriptions you publish are yours, and you are responsible for them. You confirm you have the right to sell what you list and that your listings are accurate and lawful. You grant us the licence needed to host and display your content so your showroom works. We may remove content or suspend accounts used for fraud, stolen vehicles, misleading listings or anything unlawful.
4. Buyers and leads
Buyers who contact you through your showroom share their details (such as name and phone number) so you can respond to them. Use lead information only to respond to that buyer's inquiry. Deals happen directly between you and the buyer: Ridelot is not a party to any sale and does not verify buyers, vehicles or payments between you and a buyer.
5. Plans, billing and refunds
The Free plan is free forever within its limits. Paid plans (Pro, Business) are billed in Naira per 30 day period through our payment provider, Paystack. You can cancel any time from the billing page: you keep paid access until the end of the period you already paid for, then move to the Free plan. Your data is never deleted for non-payment. Because paid periods run to their end after cancellation, payments already made are generally not refundable; if you believe you were charged in error, contact support within 7 days and we will make it right.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use Ridelot to break the law, infringe others' rights, send spam, scrape the platform, probe its security, or interfere with other dealerships' showrooms. We may suspend or terminate accounts that do.
7. Service and liability
We work to keep Ridelot fast and available, but it is provided "as is" and we cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
8. Ending your account
You can stop using Ridelot at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms, with notice where reasonable. On closure your public showroom stops being served.
9. Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the product evolves; material changes will be announced in the app or by email. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
